After a Covid related hiatus, TOPSoccer is returning this Fall and we are very excited to restart this program in our Community! 

Fall 2024 Haverford Soccer Club TOPSoccer Program

 

This FREE 6 week program is for children in Kindergarten - 12th Grade with a physical and /or mental disability. Each child is paired with a volunteer buddy to learn basic soccer skills and how to play the game while in a safe environment. Each week, athletes will learn new skills in a fun and friendly way with the help of their buddy and coaches. The TOPSoccer program centers around an inclusive environment where all children regardless of physical and cognitive abilities can enjoy the game of soccer, improve communication skills, make new friends, and have FUN. This program is designed to bring out the best in our young athletes in a safe environment.

 

This Program Includes: 

• A uniform shirt

• A volunteer buddy 

• 1 hour Weekly Training/ Games

HSC TOPSoccer is supported by volunteer coaches and buddies from our club and our community. Our goal is that your children have fun learning and playing soccer in a positive fun filled environment.

TOPSoccer Buddies are invaluable volunteers who participate directly with individual players or within a team with several players to enable participation in a soccer activity. The TOPSoccer buddy is not a player and does not score goals. They help the TOPSoccer player succeed and keep them as safe as possible. Buddies must be aged 10 or older. Registration for Buddies will be open in August.
